<lj:music>"The Girls A Straight Up Hustler" - All Time Low</lj:music>

Since I'm such a trend whore, I thought, why not get an LJ? I mean, jumping on the bandwagon is one of my best skills.

Tomorrow I'm going to go pick up my schedule and get my books for school. It's hard to believe that I'm going to be beginning my Junior year of high school. My 6th grade teacher once told me that everything after the 6th grade goes by extremely fast.. She was certainly right. It feels as though "the best years of my life" are passing by at an alarming rate.. And I'm not quite sure that I'm ready to take on all of the responsibilities of adulthood. In all honesty, I've had to grow up fast from the get-go, but I've always reminded myself that I AM still a kid. Pretty soon, I won't have that self-assurance that seems to make every bit of responsibility a bit more bearable and turns the necessary into an excuse to provide myself with a compliment or two.
